Rapa Nui archeology field class on RAPA NUI

Pages: 1 3 replies

The University of Hawaii is sponsoring an archeology field class this summer on Easter Island. Would you just die to go? I know I would if I had the funds.

The lousy news is the main deadline passed, which was Feb 17. BUT the website says they are accepting late applications depending on how much space is still available.

It looks like definitely looks like something to keep an eye out on the next time this class comes up.

The anthropology departments at many universities must do this. I just found out this semester that our department at Long Beach State does a Rapa Nui trip, maybe every year or every other year. Something like that. I think the trips usually go over spring break, and the cost is a couple thousand bucks. Pretty cool, but you have to do school work on vacation.

I've just wanted to visit there for some time. Is it "One plane every two weeks" or something like that?
