abstract tiki at Pier 1

Looking through the latest catalog from Pier 1 import, I noticed the following wooden 'Oval Mask Shadow Boxes' Pretty neat - kind of what you might get if you crossed tiki, abstract art, Witco, and 60's mod. These are pretty large items. The three mask shadow box is 48 x 26 inches, the two-mask version is 36" x 26"

These framed ladies with their ritual offerings are pretty neat too - 49" x 25" They also offer a version in red.

Very cool. A wee bit on the pricey side though.

yikes! $200 for the 3 panel, and $150 for the 2 panel. They are cool though - just a little out of my price range too.

On the plus side, you get a large wall hanging (4 x 2 feet) and you don't have to get it framed.

I am not purchasing this though - not enough bare wall space in my home.

I would say that I like them. But I'll just keep the ones I have around here. He's only about an inch and a half big. LAter
