WHEN: Friday April 7, 2006
from 6pm- 8pm.

WHERE: Trader Vic’s Civic Center is
located at 555 Golden Gate Avenue at Van Ness.
WHO: Trader Vic’s, the legendary purveyor of
Polynesian food, drinks and fun invite you to
celebrate a new book “Trader Vic’s Tiki Party”. It
has over 100 best-loved tropical cocktails like the
Samoan Fog Cutter, Potted Parrot and of course,
The Original Mai Tai created by Trader Vic himself
62 years ago. The book also includes 35 crowd
pleasing pan-Asian pu-pu’s like Crab Rangoon,
Crispy Prawns and Bongo Bongo Soup.

HOW: For reservations call Trader Vic’s
415.775.6300. Limited to 100 guests, one free Mai
Tai and complimentary pu-pu’s will be served
during the book signing.

Friday? Hmmm, no "Matlock" on Fridays. I will see what I can do. Wait, free? Free mai tai!...damn the Matlock, full speed ahead. Now, that's a free mai tai per person, not one for all to share, right?

And pu-pu's, too! Crab Rangoon is super good terrific stuff.

I guess everyone else in the Bay Area is FILTHY rich and couldn't use a free Mai-Tai!! :) The event was fairly well attended-by NON TC MEMBERS!
