my little bar area with tiki inspiration

We don't own a house but we have a large living room, large enough that I could make a "bar area" with 43 frames of shag art (I decapitated 2 shag books to make that) and we covered my bar with raffia.

I also have one shag serigraphy (the pic is not that clear though)

One japanese friend came over and said "oishi fugu" (delicious puffer fish) the only idea my bar gave her is to eat puffer fish :) Oh well.

Aloha and welcome Marika! That's one Shaggy wall! I've seen Shag monkey tins somewhere that would fit in your bar nicely.

Welcome marika! That is one very colourful bar!
It must be nice to retreat to such a bright spot in the wintertime when things are dull outside.

Thanks for the nice welcoming :) I am a shag fan. I also bought 5 prints from the disney 50th anniversary and some awesome decantor and shot glasses kits (akuku and moatu). I am just very nervous to use them when we party.

The bar warms the cold montreal winter nights. For xmas we made a luau with friends and I made a 7 liters scorpion. I just changed the recipe where 2 oz = 1 X 26 oz bottle we also got some dry ice it was awesome. Of course this was only the "welcome punch".
