I'm uploading some shares for the ohana. Hawaiian and exotica stuff. Check it out:

Most of what I'm uploading now is stuff I ripped months ago so there's no cover art and some are incomplete LPs etc. I'll be more comprehensive with newer rips.

Have you digitized any Frank Hunter, by any chance? White Goddess, in particular.

Thanks, Kono!

I posted White Goddess to the bizarro-exotica group today.

Mahalo Kono! I'm listening to The Surfmen right now. Splendid!

Thanks John. You reminded me to put up a links list which I just did. Between you and Hearwax and schrikdraad, I probably d/l more reggae than anything else!

I just added an older rip I did of Rex Kona - Wild Orchids. I may and try to record something new tomorrow.

MUCH PROPS to Konotiki...you are what having a forum like this is all about...archaic music loading!! My iPod has never sounded more lush...need to get the link back to that SURFIN KNOTS guy though...such a wealth of great stuff.

Thanks bb

That Shelly Manne LP is an exotica dark horse. HIGHLY recommended!

that 'Clarence'....this is a song that stands neck & neck with Martin Dennys TSE-TSE FLY as a masterwork of nutty musical dissonance. Its too bad the show never really lived up to the music... you'd get all amped up as a kid for it when it came on (usualy on a B+W set cuz the parents had the color one) and after the intro, it just PLODDED ON endlessly--kinda like an african FLIPPER. Clarence the Crosseyed Lion was the BEST character on the show--not a glowing tribute to the HUMAN ACTORS.
Shelley Manne is the drummer, right?

Added a cool old Christmas album to the blog today.

Mahalo Kono. Vegas Vic turned me on to that album about a year ago, but I never got around to downloading it from somewhere. Thanks again-a very welcome addition to the library.
