aloha tiki enthusiasts!
great seeing everyone at tiki oasis. what a blast! it was cool to finally meet everyone from tiki central who i've been corresponding with online.
just got word that the martini kings will play the opening night bash at the brand spankin new trader vics at hotel valley ho in scottsdale arizona.in case you haven't heard of the valley ho hotel- it is the swankiest hotel i've ever been to!we played the opening parties this past december when the hotel opened.
this was formerly a crack hotel run down to the ground. the new investers sunk millions into it and came up with the coolest hotel in the country!
they were smart to preserve all the cool things from the previous hotel and work them all into the cool 60's vibe.
should you call the hotel- they will put you on hold to the martini kings music! weird huh? but fun for us.anyway the opening party is friday evening june 2nd.
unfortunately it is a private big wig party but hopefully we will be back to play there sometime soon.ANYBODY KNOW OF A COOL VENUE THE MARTINI KINGS CAN PLAY ON JUNE 1ST(THURSDAY EVENING NEAR SCOTTSDALE?

Contact Gilligins in Scottsdale--they normally don't have bands but with their decor, it could be a perfect fit...also DRIFT--maybe an outdoor show or try the BIKINI LOUNGE--those guys are pretty CHEAP though and rarely have bands
