This might have come up before, but is the creator of Spongebob Squarepants a major tiki freak or what? The entire show is riddled with tiki stuff. hell, Squidward LIVES in a Moai head. Everything is there, from the shows typefaces down to the Crusty Crab.

Well here's something you may not know. The creator of Spongebob hails from our own Anaheim, CA and has admitted to the shows style as being a reference to 60's tiki kitch. That's the way to influence the future generation so they will go on to apreciate tiki style. ZAZZZZZ!

My kids are high school age and beyond so I haven't seen Sponge Bob shoes. Do they make squishy noises like when Squidword walks?

No. They just wear out faster so we have to buy more of them!
I did the owner of Skechers' home office(hand carved mohogany/bamboo/floor to ceiling!!) a while back, but my kids want Sponge Bob! Go figure!!
