One of the drinks we served during Trader Vic's Night at the Rongorongo Room was called a Space Needle. the recipe is from Trader Vic's Rum Cookery and Drinkery c. 1974. we couldnt find any other info about this drink through Google, but one has to suspect is originated at the (defunct) Seattle Trader Vic's.

1.5 ounces light Puerto Rican Rum
1.5 ounces dark Jamacian rum
1 ounce curacao
1.5 ounces lemon juice
.75 ounce orgeat.

Blend with 1 cup ice; pour over shaved ice in glass; serve with a straw.

DB!
I couldn't find anything about the Rongorongo Room in the "Locating Tiki" posts. ?

I love the Rongo room!
I will come if Al promises not to get naked in the bathroom when I'm there.

Wait a minute I will come only if Al promises to get naked in the bathroom when I am there. :)

Could be from the Space Needle itself.

I have a placemat drink menu from the space needle, one of their 6 speciality drinks is called the "Space Needle".
