Glasgow Tiki Shakers at the Huntington Pier tomorrow

Hey all,
I know it's not really a tiki event. but since they played for us at the Big Sam's party, I thought I'd post it here.

So it's a last minute thing, as they are subbing for a band that had to cancel.

So there ar 5 surf bands total,
The Maruaders
The Boardwalkers
The Insect Surfers
The Glasgow Tiki Shakers
The Eliminators.

show is to the right of the HB pier right by the grass ampitheater
area. Starts at 11 am and finishes around 5 pm.
and it's Freeeeee

Hope to see some Tiki Folk down there

The Glasgow Tiki Shakers rocked at Sam's so we gotta go!

We'll be rolling out to the HB pier today on bikes.

Not Really a Tiki Event? The Eliminators have two tikis on their surfboard / sign that I think they dedicated yesterday to the Surf Museum. That qualifies in my book as a tiki event.
Good to see bigtikidude and Jean-Paul there for the closing set. The Eliminators Rocked. Also great free munchies at the Surf Museum later.

It was a great day. even the trippin on ????? bum trying to get on stage was a bit of a hoot.

duty called. Sorry I didn't say Hi again at the Museum, but I did
notice you 2 come in for the presentation party. I had to go outside to get some fresh air. The AC was down and I was baked from being in the sun all day.
Ok surf and tiki do crossover. I'm always cautious about being too pushy about it. But it seems to be happening all over the world, not just Ca. or the U.S.

the Museum has Bands playing allmost every Sun. thru summer.

hey gang,

sorry we missed most of yous. we ran into soccer and woohoo munchin on nachos while walking past duke's. we waz on our way to wahoos fer lunch (mahaloz for the picture guys!). we stayed for the third set and then had to bail to beat the wind against us on the tiki bikes.

we will meet someday bigtikidude. it's our density (george mcfly).

Damnit. I guess I should really get on the board more than I have been lately. Looks like I missed another great show. Mothra = loser.

Was checking out tiki events and came across this post! Thanks to those that made it to the Pier last Sunday and a huge thanks to the Big Tiki Dude for posting our gig for us at the last minute -- see you soon!!!
