Nope its definatly pronounced "LAR-Gr" with plenty of R's on the invisible R. I've worked behind a bar for the last 8 years and if someone asks for a pint of "La-gr" you know that the Edinburgh Festivals started.

I collected beer cans back in the day and have the Penny series. Since I was underage, my parents had to assist me with purchases and I recall how my mother balked at buying the Penny series. But Dad took me back the next day and they resided on my shelves for years. Nice bird, she was.
