Which Punch?

So we're getting married next weekend and I don't trust anyone else to mix the punch. So I'm considering strongly making a large batch of Trader Vic's Tonga Punch (following the bulk recipe from the 1972 TV BT Guide) or the Tahitian Rum Punch from the 1946 food and drink book. Has anyone made either, especially the latter? thanks!
