Anybody have a clear glass moai-shaped container that they're willing to get rid of (sell or trade)? I have some sand from Easter Island that I would like to display. At present, the sand is in a plastic water bottle - and that just doesn't cut it for me. Thanks, |

Maybe you can get a lamp like this one (not my auction) and take the electronic stuff out. |

If you can find a nice moai stencil, or make your own, you could go to the craft store and get a glass etching kit. That way you could use any glass container you wanted. |

I have 2 of those bottles from Shonfeld's, both currently holding my liquor. If you can't find a better one elsewhere, let me know & I'll trade you one ("cleaned" of the liquor of course). |

Just wanted to say mahalo to DawnTiki for her generosity. The bottle's perfect for the sand! Why is it mostly empty? To save room for sand gathered during future Rapa Nui expeditions! Not the best photo (I'll try to post another one soon): |
