Tiki tablecloth

At a local vintage clothes shop recently, I luckily spotted this bit of fabric nestled in a back section of weird stuff:

Unfolded, it turns out to be a swell linen tablecloth with tiki masks all over it!

It's small; about the perfect size for one of those square folding card tables. The designs look like those from Papua New Guinea or other parts of Melanesia to my utterly untrained eyes. Wherever they're (supposed to be) from, I likes it.

The fabric is in great shape, no stains, fading or other discoloration. There's no marking on it to indicate what company made it, unfortunately.

That's an awesome piece of fabric humu! Congrats!

Wow, what a find!!!! Wanna arm wrestle?? I need to "thrift" more often down in your area. Use it in good health, Humu!

That design is from the Abelam tribe of the Sepik river area in NE New Guinea, nice find.
