I've been holding onto this for a while.. It's not much, but time to share it.

It's a taste (3 Quicktime clips) from a carving session I had with Benzart about a year and some ago.. Not the greatest footage as it was shot with my digital camera. Hope it fulfills some of your desires to watch Ben in action. A big hello to you, Ben. I assume you won't mind me sharing.

Put it up on YouTube or Google video so it can stay out there forever.

That was cool Capt Skully, I had completely forgotten about that session.
You should come up and do some more. I'm usually here all the time!

Ahoy Ben! Thanks for the invite and I wish I could join you carving again. Unfortunately I'm not in South Florida anymore- I've moved up to Kahiki-town (Columbus, OH) recently.. The Capt'n is landlocked once again!

Swanky- Good idea.. Uploading to Google Video now.

Awesome videos. Someone really needs to make a dvd with Benzart and all the other masters carving. I would buy one for sure!!

Thanks for sharing.

Great videos...but what is that tool called?? is there such a thing as an electric chisel?? excuse my ignorance..but that tool makes everything seem easier..at least for us gals. Yes Benz..you should make training videos, I know there's a market for them..I haven't been able to find any videos on "tiki" carving.

Oh the things you will see and learn here...Yes, electric everything you could imagine. One still requires the process whether manual or electric. Stick around. You will get hooked.
