Good thinking and Kong Tiki looks great, just don't forget he's in the backyard or you might have a heart attack.

Sure thing TikiMango! Hehe, I wonder if the neighbors are okay…! They should have gotten used to some heart attacks by now:) Cheers!

May Tikis fire forever burn!

Here is a project I did for a horror feast in Oslo.
They wanted a sculpture so I made an OwlTiki, that´s just what came into mind.
The owl is made out of Styrofoam and then painted with a type of plastic paint.

Sketched up with fluorescent markers

Carving done with an electric fillet knife

Green lights serves you good horror mood

Here´s the finished owl painted

New project, doing tikis for a private tikibar in Oslo.
These are made of Norwegian Pinetree, this is the type of wood
that works best considering size and availability.

First step of trim

Here I have done some carving on the first tiki, the tikis
are supposed to become pillars on the sides of the bar, to keep the roof up.

More details will be added later, as soon as we´re able to fix this dust problem!

Here is a picture overview of the room I´m working in, and it´s literally filled up with dust.
The fire alarm went off the other day because of it, but luckily we were able to tell the fire department there was no fire.

Start of the second tiki pillar

I got a new chainsaw, and it´s quite nice for the larger carves

el ray... dude, your stuff is killer bro! Love that you're scary passionate about it too. Go big or go home!

Cheers Furball! Yeah, passion is the answer! Keep carving, keep shaping, keep loving!

Hi,

This is my first attempt making a tiki while working with brushes in Illustrator and then taking it through Photoshop.
I name it Misty Tiki, - hope you like it.
