Triple 8 Distillery

Anyone tried Hurricane Rum from the Triple 8 Distillery?

Naturally, I was excited to discover a distiller in MA. I was less excited to learn they make spirits on Nantucket Island. (about the worst place I can think of to house any production facility) For $35, I'd like to know if it's any good.

Hey Pappy, save your money.
I too was excited to see a "local" rum and had money burning a hole in my pocket.
If i recollect, it was nothing special and a little on the harsh side.
Really not worth the money.
All i remember is that i poured me a glass, drank, shrugged my shoulders, put the cap back on the bottle and hid the bottle away in the basement never to be used again.....Next time i see you guys i'll bring some with me.
