Found this info today on Boing Boing

"When I was in Hawaii last week, I saw this little graphic from a WWII era Trader Vic's menu. It depicts Mussolini as a jackass, Hitler as a skunk, and Hirohito as a rattlesnake, and it reads:
"Due to these three Lousy Dirty Stinkers you're eating off paper instead of my grass mats." -- Trader Vic, Oakland."

I did a quick search but didn't see any mention of this before.

You can also see it on page 86 of the BOT -- it's a bit easier to read there. I wonder where Frauenfelder was in Hawaii when he saw it?

Dang, I thought it looked vaguely familiar. I forgot about lookin' throught the BOT.

When I was visiting an antique mall in Ontario in July, I spotted a small, very old stuffed version of Hitler as a skunk. There was also a bent over Hitler with a pincushion for a bum.
They were fantastic! The asking price for each was about $200.
I immediately remembered that cartoon when I saw the skunk.
