Surf Art Show 11/30 in LA

Piscoli Fabulosi II (Latin for "Fabulous Little Fishes"): the work of Dirk
Westphal.

Join us at DWR for artist Dirk Westphal's first Los Angeles showing, a
collection of photographs and surfboards featuring saltwater fish. Westphal considers
surfboards as floating pieces of art and uses them as the new medium for his art.

His film, How to Make a Surfboard, will be viewed continuously throughout the evening.

It’s the perfect opportunity to learn more about the artist’s creative process and concepts
behind his creations, while also paying homage to the Studio space’s original function as a
fish store. Enjoy an evening with us as we honor the history of our studio by
celebrating the new creations of an artist.
