Description:
This complex is 113 units. It has been converted to condos and has very little tiki decor left. The manager told me that they are remodeling due to terimite damage on much of the wood beams as you can see in some of the images. When I was attending Oxnard high school there was a young pretty teacher who lived at the Kona Kai which was supposed to be a swinging singles place. Many of her students including myself,pictured her in a grass skirt or less at pool side. It is now mostly rentals. I am trying to find pictures from the 60's to post.
