FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE INFO CONTACT CHRIS O’NEILL - [email protected] OR JOHN HARTNESS – [email protected] Shakespeare Carolina announces the Queen City Shakespeare Festival this summer at Theatre Charlotte. The company will produce two full-length, fully staged productions at Theatre Charlotte, 501 Queens Rd. along with several special events centered on the works of William Shakespeare. The company will present The Taming of the Shrew June 21, 22, 23 and 27, 28, 29 and 30. This is a revival of the successful production performed this spring outdoors in Rock Hill. The company will also produce Hamlet July 19, 20, 21 and 25, 26, 27, and 28. All performances will be at 8PM. Tickets for all shows are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. Patrons wishing to see all shows may purchase a Bard Pass for $25 good for admission for one person to all Queen City Shakespeare Festival events. Tickets may be reserved via email to [email protected], or purchased at the door. Shakespeare Carolina was founded in 1998 as York County’s York County's only classically-based theatre company.
