Aloha everyone!

I've been working like mad since January to get up to swing in the production of Tiki Tiles - high relief hand-pressed tiles that I make in my studio. I am offering up the first fruits of my labors - the first 8 glaze test tiles - on ebay and I am setting the starting bid at a mere 50$. Take a peek - I put lots of close up photos on the auction page, and be sure to let me know if you have any questions.

Mahalo for peeking!

Mahalo Matt!

For those who are scratching their heads after clicking "view seller's other auctions" - I just wanna come clean that I am emptying my closet of old toys. Ms. VanTiki is very happy to see the dusty boxes leaving the house :)

V

Aloha all -

This is the official "there are 2 days left in the auction" post!

Congrats Jonesy. Those are super cool.

those are super sweet. the pride of craftsmanship really shows in those. if you folks didn't notice, the ones with the patterns are actually 2 completely different sculpts, just lending themselves more to their unique appeal. great job Van!

You noticed! - Yep, I'm doing each design in tandem, so even if you have the same tile side-by-side they will still look "natural".

Thank you so much for the compliments everyone - and thank you for bidding! Extra Mahalos to Jonsey - whose collection just got a little bit cooler :)

The green and Dark brown/black? glaze on the top left tile looks fantastic, I'd definately be up for a set in that colour

Ha - yep, I thought the exact thing when I layed them out this morning to shoot photos. I wan't thinking of it the other night when glazing. The lucky winner will just have to pick up one more when they go for sale on my site in a week or so :)

Man - I just read that over and it sounds like some sick drug-dealing ploy (hey kids - the first few are free, but you will need to come back to collect them all)! Sorry folks!

Not to cause widespread panic - but there are less than two days left on the Tiki Tile Auction! Remain seated, everyone.... No need to shout.... Please stay calm...

Mahalo to all who took a gander at the auction (and a special mahalo to those who bid!)
