I was pleasantly surprised to find in the spring garden ornaments at my local ASDA that they have foot tall resin Moais for only £6.00. ASDA have them marked as "wood effect man" but the colouring is more streaky old bronze. A shop assistant i talked to didn't know if they were just for the spring or they might be getting more in. These Moais would make lovely lamp bases, I'm might go back to asda and buy the other ones that are on the shelf. |

top tip, thanks. I want to do more with our garden this year, so some moai gnome action will do just the job. Are they hollow? |

yes they are hollow, but heavy enough to warrant warning on the label "Be careful not to overbalnce". |
