For you Ren Clark aficionados, here's some non-mug memorabilia that just appeared on e-bay with a "Buy it Now". http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2154262770&category=427 [ Edited by: Sabu The Coconut Boy on 2003-01-16 12:22 ] |

Every once in awhile I see Ren Clark memorabilia show up on eBay. I once saw this token for sale: Interestingly, the token is Asian themed as well. |

Ren Clark was a magician out of the texas area. He did own Ren Clark's Polynesian Village, and several other businesses. One of his magic acts was an all oriental themed act, which you can see from the program above. Erich Troudt |

Kind of off topic but, Erich, are you a magician? My favorite night out is dinner and shows at the Magic Castle. I have yet to have a bad time there. My parents have been members since the 60's. It feels like old Hollywood where you can sip on martinis, guys must wear jackets and ties and ladies, dresses. If you haven't been (anyone) GO! Excelent food and better entertainment! |

Actually, "weirduncletiki" (who is also a member of the Magic Castle) and I took some Socal Tiki Central people to the magic castle last year. It was alot of fun. Rumor has it it might be in the works again in March.... Yeah, I'm a magician, thats all I do. I'm currently at Magic Mountain every weekend until Feb 16th. Erich Troudts polynesian village huh? I just refer to it as the "hut". (who knows what my neighbors refer to it as). Erich Troudt [ Edited by: ErichTroudt on 2003-01-16 02:14 ] |

"Erich Troudt's Polynesian Village" like Ren Clark's Polynesian Village. Just a suggestion... :) |

I am so in for a trip to the Magic Castle! I can taste the Beef Wellington and perfect Manhattans now! Maybe we can get enough people together for the Houdini seance(sp?) I think we need 12 but I'm not sure. Has anyone done it? Any So CA people who have never been, must go, it's an amazing night out. Can't wait! |

I've seen something about this Houdini seance on television before. When are they doing this again? |

Well, I think it used to be a, make the reservation and they'll arrange the seance, type of thing. I know they have a special room off the dining room for the Houdini seance. I checked the website and find no info on it. My family may be going there for my bro's 21st birthday (strictly 21+ there) so I can get info in Feb. or we could call too. Here's the website |
