I completely agree. At No. 3, Lava Lounge (R.I.P.) is over-rated, even though the $12 MaiTais and Blue Hawaiians would be loaded up with flamingo straws, pineapple, hanging monkeys and an umbrella (However, their presentation would deserve a No. 1). At No. 6, Trader Vic's, the granddaddy of them all, is ranked too low. Their tiki mugs, classic concoctions and exotic interior and exterior decor deserve a No. 2 ranking. I was pleased to see Damon's make the list, although it must be for decor exclusively. I also think the MaiKai in SaMo, Tantra in SilverLake and Dar Maghreb in West Hollywood also should have made the list. http://losangeles.citysearch.com/bestof/winners/exotic_drinks [ Edited by: christiki295 2007-04-14 11:53 ] |

A buddy of mine lived and worked in Colorado a few years back he said that the Coors plant was down stream of a water treatment plant. I always thought it tasted like Piss to me. Jeff(bigtikidude) |
