Tiki? or is that an indian design

These were a fun find at the thrift shop. Look like tiki mugs, but I'm a beginner and can't tell if maybe that's an indian look. The glaze is more fragile than it looks, my son put a tiny chip into one. The insides are very dusty, hopefully someones cherished collectors item.

Indian: Mayan specifically (at least, the upper left photo is for sure). So from Mexico or northern Central America (Guatemala or Honduras)....or trying to look like they are.
But quite cool anyway!
