Every month our local Houston mid-century modern preservation group picks a MCM style house to hold open so everyone and anyone can see it. They had some great vintage photographs from the 60's. There was also a photocopy of the 1959 Parade of Homes brochure that showed the pool area in full glory, and with out the little iron fence that now surrounds it. It is a positively decadent house. I think it is calling Formikahini's name.... |
