Unusual Mugs - Please ID

I recently aquired these 4 6 1/2" ceramic Tiki mugs. There is a partial sticker on the bottom of two of them that says: Sample - Program name: Fiesta - Vendor: FP Glassware/AMC HK. Can anyone tell me more about these?

I'm guessing they were sample pieces from Fred Press Glassware. They produced copious amounts of glassware in the 50's. I've seen some ceramics from Fred Press, but never any mugs.

Is it just me or are those the Tahitian Cannibal Tikis? And in the correct order no less. Maybe I'm just trying to see it, anyone else see it too?
