Anyways, I see that you live in Oakland. Sorry for the last minute post, but a bunch of us East Bay folks hang out at Forbidden Island in Alameda on Wednesday evenings. I don't know if you've been there or not yet, but you should definitely check it out. In fact, a bunch of us are heading over there right now. I live in Alameda, and will be walkin' out the door as soon as I finish this post. Forbidden Island is a good place to introduce yourself and meet some of the regular TC Ohana, as well as get yer drink on.

Also, there is a DJ there every Thursday, spinning cool retro tunes, so if you read this post too late for Wednesday, you might want to check out Thursday - most of us try to make Thursdays as well. Cheers,

MEOW! Thanks for the hello. Yep, know the Forbidden Island well and know Thursdays DJ Tanoa from the Verde. I was actually there last Thursday...Not sure I can make it tonight but all you East Bay cats are welcome to come on over Sunday for a Tiki BBQ.

Yeah, DJ Tanoa is there on the first and third Thursdays of the month. The Jab spins wax on the second Thursday. And the last Thursday of the month is the Church Of Sinatra, which is tonight - really good Rat Pack tunes. I'll be there tonight, and so will a few others. Cheers!
