A couple of my hand built Tiki Ukuleles
are going to be on display at the
NAMM Museum of making music,
in a show entitled
"The Ukulele and You:
America’s Enduring Love of the Jumping Flea"
showcasing litteraly hundreds of the coolest Ukes from
throughout history, as well as awesome new
Ukuleles from modern luthiers.

Here is one of the Ukes I am showing...

A concert scale Mahogany and Spruce Pineapple Tiki-Lele
Book matched Mahogany back and sides,
Mahogany neck and fretboard,(15 frets) one piece
spruce top, Tortoise binding
top and bottom,
Tortoise and fiber rosette,
Ivoroid "snow flake" position markers,
Ivoroid triangle side "dots"
Fiber and mahogany pendeloque.
(that little ornament at the bottom of the body under the bridge)

That's beautiful! I love the details - the tiki on the headstock, the crown motif on the bridge, the pineapple shape. It's a genuine work of art. Amazing work!

I love your uke- the bridge and the headstock.
Very, very nice!!

I was almost in this show, but I completed my first hand-built art uke right as the deadline passed (Lou Reimuller built it, I painted it).
