I didn't see your plate but you might be able to find something out through their links.

Good luck and nice find!

This one is not a Trader Vic one but it's also Vernon Kilns. Not nearly as colorful or ornate either but I like it.

Done in typical Vernon souvenir style, the border shows South Seas dancers, flowers, and fruit. The restaurant, with its unique architecture and decor is in the center. The pictures surrounding it include the Rain Hut 'where it rains every 20 minutes', the Pacific Seas Dining Room, and The Garden for Meditation with the Statue of Christ and Jerusalem Well.

The back of the plate gives a short biography of Clifford Clinton and his philanthropic and service endeavors and says "Designed by Vernon Kilns, U.S.A."

Above from the eBay auction. I love the Dine Free Unless Delighted!

No info other than it is a darn fine plate and I almost bid on it and I think you got it for a good price :)
Obviously the motif is taken from the classic TV's menu cover.
And I love that Clifton's plate, too, I always covet it when I see it in the display case at the entrance of the surviving Clifton's dowtown LA. A bio on the back, in the ceramic? Never knew of any such thing, how cool. Don't break it!
