New Moai shields

Still no logs here in Pittsburgh, so more projects with planks of wood!
This is after cutting with a jigsaw, chiseling the mouth out, and staining.

Here is the assembled mask by itself and then mounted on the backing material...there's a shoe in there for size reference.

Here's the final piece hung up. I actually made two identical shields...the other one's just out of camera view. Gotta have balance, ya know!

I like the nice and simple style. :D
