I thought the Hale Tiki in Augusta, GA was closed? According to this news story, a fight broke inside the Hale Tiki last Saturday night, which led to a drive-by shooting where a 15 year old girl was shot in the hip. News video footage shows the Hale Tiki sign still up. No word on whether Phil Spector was in the area. |

The news report said it was "rented out." So it's closed but just rented out for private events. That place is just cursed. |

On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams....and what a nice sign it still is, sigh. How odd, in Atlanta they are doing dating games at a Tiki Bar, while in nearby Augusta they are shooting the place up! Those Southerners are so temperamental. |
