In case you haven't heard, Halloween should be excellent at Forbidden Island. It all starts at 7:30pm with spooooooooky theremin music by Robert Silverman Then DJ Tanoa will spin some creepy tunes along with his usual outstanding set. Costume contest! With gift cards and some hoopty-ass trophies that I've put together as prizes. Two one-night-only drink specials: The Hawaiian Hemoglobin, with my homemade hibiscus liqueur, and the Hellfire with mango, tamarind, and Hangar One Chipotle Vodka. (very limited quantities on both of these specials!) Plus Mike & Will have put together a great collection B horror and sci-fi movies and trailers for the tv. And LOTS of free candy!!! Free candy!!! Free candy!!!

The staff was more than couteous to us both. The music was a great backdrop. It definetly made me want to spend some more ''quality'' time there and soon. Last year, many of the costumes could have won awards. People really got into it. Amy, being the heroine expert she is, later showed the Nun with the Bad Habit how to find a vein. Dr. Tikitastic monitors the flow as the Nun practices her Bad Habit again inside. Then the muscle (Notch) arrived to collect the weekly security payment from management. I'm just not funny enough to come up with an appropriate caption for this ... Boris, can you help me out? Notch is a little freaked out by the Panda The beginning of the Plushy worship! Everyone wanted to try on the panda head Will it never get old? Yep, this is when it got old. This was just taking it too far! And the Panda kicked Mai Tai's ass! Later, the Panda showed remorse. Amy couldn't resist taking a sip! Indiana Jones (a lurker and FI regular named Christopher) leaves with the Forbidden Idol The Retro Diva shows off her spunk... ... and her tushy (note to Melissa: I hope the fact that the tag is still on those bloomers doesn't mean you're planning to return them) Retro Diva and The Vicor of Liquor enjoy a quiet moment. I don't know who this is, but I thought the "gentlemen" of TC might enjoy the view. Well folks, that's all I've got. Hopefully Tikitastic, Panda, and Retro Diva will post some of their pics soon. A "ZOMBIE DRINKING ZOMBIE" and that was with the mask....I had about 2 hours of HORRIFIC MAKEUP planned that would have made this a real "DEAD RINGER" :lol: Unfortunately, Mrs.Mojo just got over a cold and had get up for work at 5:30 AM and without her Zombie have to drive alone.....Zombie no can drive after several hours drinkin Zombies! :(
