Unidentified Brazilian Tiki Mug

T

I picked up this small mug at a thrift store. It is about 2 inches high, and it is apparently from Brazil. This mini mug has that 'vintage' feel to it. But I suspect it is some kind of South American indian design, rather than Tiki. The shape of the toes just don't seem right for a Tiki item.

Has anybody seen something like this?

It reads on the back:
Franlao(?)
Rue Santa Clara No 276
Box 2e3
Tel:(0123)22.3477
Sao Jose dos Campos SP [SP = Sao Paulo]
CASA DE CHOPP

A Casa de Chopp is a place where they serve draft beer (chopp). Essentially, it's a beer garden. I tried to Google this place and couldn't find it, so it may be out of business. If I (very possibly) go there soon, I'll see if I can locate it.

Nice find!
