Tortuga Rum Cake - Recipes? - Tiki Drinks and Food

Its that time of year and I was just planning my schedule and really wanted to include Tortuga Rum Cakes into this years holiday 'mix'. Had my first taste of an actual mail order Tortuga Rum Cake this past year. Jungle Bird and Leisure Master had included it in their offerings at The New England Tiki Tour Room Crawl. They served the espresso or coffee version - it was awesome. Did a quick google search for recipes, but was not very impressed by the typical return... many of them suggesting instant pudding mix to create the moist and dense texture. I prefer to cook from scratch and am looking for a more substantial recipe to start with.
