Steel Carving

Hi i am a new user from England . Trying to work out the set up of Tiki Central. Take a look at my work as a steel "carver" http://www.steelingnature.co.uk The moai has halogen lights in his eye sockets

Wicked or what.


This was made from an old gas bottle Any comments ?

That makes a wood tiki carving look like child's play! I'll bet you've worked on a few hotrods in your time.

Thats very impressive work! Nice :D Although I do think you should have clear coated that gorgeous bare metal, that would have been sweet :D :D :D

Hi Hewey . The reason i left the steel untreated was so that it rusted to give the texture of volcanic stone as the moai were carved from , Thanks for your great comments about my work .

Steelfox, Welcome to TC. You have some Really Cool stuff there, the Moai isquite expressive and looks as if he is here to stay and the Gator is Just plain Awesome. Can't wait to see More tiki pieces.
