Woot?

Don't you mean YEE-HA?

You sure you're from Texas?

I'm definitely hoping to be there. But.... DALLAS? bleah........

WOOT?
Maybe Unkle means, "Way Out of Topic", since the event has a thread in Events?
Anyway, we'll be there.

Way Out Of Topic perhaps, but I direct your attention to this section of the Tiki Central Rules:

**If you're posting an announcement for a Tiki Event, we ask you do the following:

  • Post in the Tiki Events forum only.

  • Include the date(s) of the event in the subject line.

  • You can post a link to the announcement of the event in the Main forum for maximum exposure. Here's how to do it:

  • Posted your event announcement in the Events forum
  • Once posted, view it and copy the link from your web-browser.
  • in the main forum, create a new topic with the same subject line as the event.
  • In the body of the message, put the link to the forum.
  • DO NOT include the text from the event page. Doing so is considered spam.**

If I've misunderstood what this means I offer my apologies and ask the moderators to please set me straight.

I belived "WOOT!" stood for an internet expressing joy.

That's what it became:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=woot

But still, "WOOT" came to mind before "YEE-HA"?

- 2 for you on the Texan meter.

LOL!

I think only the drugstore and brokeback cowboys only say "yee-haw" anymore.
