The Tower, San Diego's best dive bar

One of San Diego's oldest architectural oddities is making a comeback. The Tower has been around for about 75 years now in all kinds of incarnations but still survives (although not unscathed).

This looks very interesting. I think we'll take a field trip while down at Oasis. What are the drinks like? Also, I wonder what the inside looks like. After so many incarnations, is it stuck in any particular era?

I have been there a few times for Surf shows.

Dave from the Creepy Creeps and his buddy DJ there sometimes.

They are known as selling more PBR beer there than any other bar.

I dont know if they really do mixed drinks there.
But IM sure they could muster something up.

I know they do have absinthe now.
