I have a hard time parting with this early Bosko beauty:
...and this year 2000 Munktiki mug is one of the more unique concepts in Tiki Revival mugdom:
We all recognize this guy I hope (meaning we all have Tiki Modern, right?):
if not, here he is: and last not least, an "ugly duckling" (because unloved next to the glamor of his siblings) Stephen Crane mug:
It was used at a very cool place, the Chicago Kon Tiki Ports restaurant: |

Last Day! Boy, that Hawaiian Village-type guy is popular, didn't know it was so rare, I have another in a glossy green glaze (not for sale!). And the poor peanut Crane guy, he gets the shaft? I LIKE him, I guess he must be more common... |

Sorry Bro, but isn't that mug on the Hawaiian Village menu the one with the cold painting? |

Yes, like the one I'm selling is...why? I do say in my e-bay post that it has no markings from any restaurant, but the brown color does make it like the exact one they used at H.V. ...I like my green glossy glazed one better, though: Especially because it has those touches of brown in the glaze, like the better versions of my Sven-Tiki mug. This one has no restaurant or maker markings whatsoever, either. [ Edited by: bigbrotiki 2008-04-11 10:02 ] |

Never seen them without the cold painting on them. It's on the February image of Tiki Daze. |
