Hi everyone,

http://higherthanfi.blogspot.com/

Wanted to give this a little bump, for two reasons. One: right now we have a couple of the greatest NOW sound LPs up on the blog for your listening pleasure. The John Neel Marching Machine has got to be one of the greatest LPs I've found in the last 3 years. And I've found some pretty sweet stuff in those 3 years. It's simply spectacular British NOW sound crossed with a melancholic Songs of the Jet Set vibe. Plus the Bobby Byrne and the Buddy Morrow LPs are nothing to sneeze at. Not many sharity sites have 3 stupendous LPs right in a row like that for you. Check it out.

Two: Over the weekend I'm going to post a couple of exotica LPs - so stay tuned for that. Should be up by Sunday.

Hi everyone,

Not exactly exotica, but very interesting just the same: Perez Prado's "Our Man in Latin America," now available at http://higherthanfi.blogspot.com/

Can you say Bongoson?

Enjoy!

What Pablus said, mon. Rains' orchestrations are sublime.

Mahalo nui.

Your blog looks really nice. There seems to be some good stuff on there.
I will check it out later today!

Hi everyone,

A SWEET new chunk of sharity up at our blog: http://higherthanfi.blogspot.com/

Les and Larry on Swampfire records. Just the wordless male vocal / banjo interplay on "Come and Get It" is worth the price of admission. Some strange moments are in store for you. Check it out!

Enjoy!

Hi Jeff -- it's a weird one, and part of a series on Swampfire Records. There's a Les and Larry Nashville Piano LP too (?). And a Florian Zabach Nashville strings LP. The Zabach one is really nuts, and will be going up on the blog in a future posting.

take care,

A new piece of audio gold is up at our Higher-Than-Fi blog.

(download link in the text)

Not really exotica, but think Ray Martin combined with an Italian Soundtrack. The rendition of "Perdido" is worth the price of admission alone.

Enjoy!

Hi everyone,

It's been awhile, but we've got some new Sharity on our blog. If you like the FAB Four(th) Dimension, you're gonna love this!

And if you think there's just no connection to tiki, well think again. How about something that is arguably an Exotica version of "A Hard Day's Night." Hunh? Yeah that's what I said!

Enjoy the Audio Fidelity All-Stars!

Thank you ann1985 for your valuable contribution to this topic. If I were a mod, your post (and mine) would never have been seen by anyone!
