Atomic Magazine Summer 2008 - Rum for the Wise

Wouldn't you know it -- another rum convert!

I opened my new Atomic Magazine (Summer 2008) and the first article was from the Publisher, Jim Brown, detailing his experience with rum. Following one of the Bum's recipes in his Sippin' Safari book...looks like he's hooked.

Isn't that great! Jim told us that story at the after party of a home tour at the Alibi. Pretty funny! Part of my cocktail shaker collection is on the back page in "coming up next time, Portland's Working Class Heroes". I'm excited for the Fall issue!

The photo of the young author with the whiskey and 7 is priceless. I truly wonder if an early introduction to alcohol is as bad as most of us seem to think..I mean this guy went on to be a successful magazine publisher!
