Sex! Drugs! & Ukuleles!

Here's a link to 8 and a half minutes of musical highlights from the stage show that has (happily) taken over my life. It's going to get even more "tiki-fied" at the next level. I posted this on a couple ukulele lists. I hope anyone who has already seen it will forgive me.

The video is a one camera shoot. We have footage coming of a 2 camera shoot of 2 songs -- "Ukulele Land" and "I Wanna Be A Drug" that was shot by the film-makers making "The Mighty Uke". When it arrives and gets edited into worthy shape, I'll post a link again.

We're ready to remount it on Broadway and London 's West End (and Vegas, eventually), with
lots of kitsch during the " Ukulele Land " number -- huge tikis rising
from the stage, noses blowing smoke and eyes glowing red, dancers
in big flower leis, grass skirts, and little else, and neon palm
trees on backdrop.

We are quite far along but still have to find more funding. If you know any producers/ backers/ impresarios/ millionaires/ billionaires please feel free to point them
in my direction, or at least in the direction of the vid.

Please feel free to blog it, pass it along, whatever.
