carv on the beach sun aug 31 san diego

hi guys
have been having fun doing some chops on the beach,
so i would like to invite everyone to carv and picnic
in ocean beach sun aug 31,10 am on

8 west to sunset cliffs,about 7blocks make rt on saratoga
it ends at the grass next to the beach
onload your stuff,call me on my cell,and i will bring my wagon
to haul your stuff to the sand.858 967 1688

bring shade if you got it
alcohol not allowed on beach unless your clever
a tarp or sheet to carv on makes cleanup easier

i will bring a big cooler and bbq

so come on down

Bob, I'm not sure if I'll make it or not. I'll be in PB, working, but I'm not sure I'll be able to tear myself away and try and find parking. I've got your digits, so I'll give you a ring in the AM or so.

I drove down there and found NO parking, so I went back to work on my PB project and ended the day making mugs with Babs. We need to do this again when the beach isn't so crowded, man. You guys get any pics today?

I carved most of the day on the Marq in the pic that jab posted above.
But today, I sanded it down and reburned it, and stained it.
Here it is tonight.

Man, how crazy is it to see San Diego beaches practically empty on a Labor Day weekend. That's what happens when you ban booze. :(
