OK...I hereby nominate myself as Dummy for the day , by asking the question....who is that man in the mirror ?

As iconic and mysterious as the heads in Easter Island.... :D

Wow...I'm an instant winner in the speed learning program...I'm sure to luv the DVD , and hope to get the sound track to play very loud in my garage at night to confuse the neighbors on the weekends....The mirror is a fantastic work of art, now that I've read up on the movie and seen the poster and watched the clips..truly remarkable..

Hey Quiet Village,

Thanks for the plug and we're glad you're happy with the mosaic (how 'bout that shipping time!). At some point we may tackle The Lady In The Radiator (gotta love those cheeks!). Dean Stockwell crooning 'In Dreams' is another Lynch creation on our list too.

Just 'friended' you on Flickr btw.

Cheers and Mahalo!

M&M

That film was as seminal in its time as...it's hard to compare it to anything, but maybe as the first DEVO music videos --which came out before there WERE music videos, or as seminal as the original Punk concept, or...

I wonder if it stands the passing of time, but it completely blew my mind when I saw it when it came out...on the big screen. What a let down The Elephant Man was in comparison. Eraserhead is a singular work of genius. Years later, (I was studying at the AFI on their NEW campus on Los Feliz Blvd), I did a pilgrimage to the Doheny Mansion, where the AFI started, and visited the greenhouses and paid hommage to the places being the location for some of the Eraserhead scenes.
