Note: Holding onto these pieces for a bit since they all haven't sold. Aloha All! I've got some wonderfully detailed work here for sale, some of my most premium pieces this year. First up is the Fatu Hiva Voyage. All hand made with hand tied and carved spears, carved and painted Marquesan Tikis and an extremely detailed boat. 11 1/4" High by 31" wide. $300.00 plus shipping. Next I have this hand carved Lono. 21 1/2" High by 7" wide. SOLD Two different types of Ku. This one is hand carved with a wonderful ridged headress. 20" high by 10 1/2" wide SOLD The next hand carved Ku is a different style and a bit larger. 23 1/2" high by 10" wide $150.00 plus shipping Please email me or send a PM with your questions or intent to purchase. GatorRob, thanks for the kind compliment! Sven, thanks so much for the compliment also! Looks like very interesting reading! Are they yours? Would love to see what's inside of them. I've developed an obsession for the Marquesan culture, and have been soaking up as much as I can from wherever I can find it. I've got some really cool pieces in the works for this winter. |

I promised some new pieces, and I just finished these guys up today. The first pair I made for the Planet Rooth/Tiki Magazine Show. Those sold opening night! Thanks to whomever is giving them a home! These were a lot of fun to make so I set out on creating another pair this week. These Marquesan Tikis are based on an adze that resides in the Mai Kai in Fort Lauderdale. The tiki on the left is 23 1/2" high x 9" wide. The tiki on the right is 23 1/2" high x 8 1/2" wide. $250.00 plus shipping. [ Edited by: Lake Surfer 2008-09-30 21:24 ] |
