My work is doing a project all on rum! Of course I said I would post this to Tiki Central cause you guys must know these types in NYC, Chicago and SF. They are also looking for people who HATE rum! Here is the shout out!

International Design Firm IDEO (www.ideo.com) is currently conducting in-home interviews on the topic of ALCOHOL with 21 - 40 year olds. We are seeking everything from novices to experts on this topic. All interviews will take place in the Manhattan area on Thursday December 4th – Saturday December 6th (they will also be going to SF and Chicago the following week). You must have an active FACEBOOK page to take part in this study. Participants will be compensated $100 per hour. Typical interviews last 1 hour.

Types of people we seek:

• You are an amateur mixologist
• You often go out drinking with groups of friends
• You like to party and cocktails are part of that
• You have a passion for: Vodka, Rum or Gin (tell us about it!)
• You really HATE either Vodka, Rum or Gin and you never ever drink it (tell us why!)
• You recently started drinking cocktails and are all about exploring and experimenting
• You have moved on from drinking to get drunk to more sophisticated drinking
• You make cocktails at home at least 3 x per week
• You are male and in your 20’s and you are your buddy like to drink cocktails (we would like to interview both of you)!
• You and your partner are ‘foodies’ who love to entertain and cocktails are part of this
• You 29 – 35 yrs old and you don’t go on big binge-style nights out so much as you used to
• You often have friends over for social occasions where cocktails are being served
• When it comes to hard alcohol you are a total snob – only the best for you!
• You currently work at a bar as a bartender (MUST be able to meet you at your bar for interview)
• You often get table service at a club
• You are an expert on cocktails and you write about it
• You live in Manhattan and have a sweet Tiki pad with all the rum and cocktails to go with it!
