I was inspired by the post from our latest member garryhill on Learning To Play Guitar and adapted his post to another subject that may be useful for folks. Enjoy! For a beginner, the art of learning to drink booze demands much of self-confidence so as to take up challenges. It is preferable to begin by learning how to drink and drink efficiently. Some beginners will feel some discomfort in their heads in the morning afters and in their wallets when they start to pick up the tabs. The only way round this is to continue drinking; eventually you will notice that your head will become stronger as time passes. As for the wallets, there is no solutions. If drinks the booze you will probably be lightened of the moneys. If you get others to buy the drinks you can be the mooch. To be the mooch it is good to be handsome or pretty and then you are the bar fly. If your desirable physical aspects are lacking then humor or cleverness may suffice. Or have a good looking sister others want to make the dates with. Eventually this could lead to the marriage of your sister but be sure to only allow the marriage to a brother of the law who will buy you always the drinks. As you continue to drink, you will become more confident, to which you may want to learn how to sing your favorite songs at the karaoke nights. Do not do this. Just continue to the drinkings. Most people learn by knowing how to drink other drinks than the beers or wells and become accustomed to the techniques by mixing them. It is best to shut up about your knowledge of the mixings and just keep drinking. Also being quiet and impressed by the talking of mixings of other will lead to the others buying or making you the drinks. Thank you. (Just in case anything happens to it, Gary's original post is my post about how happy he made me, HERE.) woofmutt [ Edited by: woofmutt 2008-12-12 16:09 ] |

Especially, for a beginner it is important to learn to avoid a hangover. The best way to do this is to drink so much the night before, that when you awaken (whenever that might be) you're still at least a little drunk. As long as you remain somewhat drunk, the hangover will not set in, so you must resume drinking as soon as possible after awakening. |
