Aloha Folks !

We recently shot a video for "Mai Tais on the Moon" at Bahooka. The video was directed by TC's own Joe Banks and features some really nice dancing by Tehani, whom alot of you saw at Crazy Al's 10 anniversary show at Bahooka. She'll be dancing with us New Year's Eve as well.

Also, our new website is up and running, and was done by our own Digitiki - Mark Riddle.

Love the new site and everything on it. :D But is it just me or what up with the "Mai-Tais On The Moon" video? I clicked on it, but nothing. I so much wanted to watch it. Anybody else having a problem with it? :(

Loved it!

Great stuff.

I liked the shot of her dancing in front of the flames.

Good job boys!!!

I really like the sound of these guys. Is there any other groups that have a similar sound?

Love seeing the creativity flow. Keep it up, gang!

G.P.~ I would vote no, as far as the "similar" sound thing goes. They've deftly nailed the past/present aspect of Exotica and are thus "one of a kind."

Can't wait for the next chapter, Jim, ET AL!

-Andy/Tiki Joe's Ocean

yeah I agree,
there is not much in the Vein of Tikiyaki.

there are a few bands that do the Surf Noir stuff.
Vanduras, Aqua Velvets
but to be an actual Exotica 7 piece band, with the Surf guitars, and the lap steel, I think think they own that territory.
And I love it.

can't wait for the next cd too.

Thanx TJP - I'm equally excited to hear Tiki Joe's Ocean. Make us all proud !

Great stuff! Love the CD, and the new video is nothing short of fantastic!

That was super cool. Nice work, Tikiyaki!

Very cool - beautiful dancers, great shots, and the always dreamy Tikiaki O!

No go for me as well :(

But it's always great to know the Hawaiian steel guitar is being presented well :)

Who was that on the Fender steel, Todd or Gary?

Gary Brandin,
of the Blue Hawaiians
