Pleasure Dome Tiki Bar

I've been so inspired by the creativity of others in this forum - their Tiki Bars, Huts, Lounges and the like, that I just wanted to share a few pictures of my recently completed Tiki Bar. (Though is a Tiki Bar ever really finished?)

Completed Pictures:

In-progress pictures available here:

And the Tiki Bar's Website is here: http://pleasuredometiki.com/

Welcome to TC Dodger, the bar looks great and you'll find lots of inspiration here. I especially like the big red funnel (4th picture) for chuggin' rum! You are supposed to crop the pictures so that the white ceiling doesn't show - when the good Reverend Bamboo Ben sees that you're going to be chastised! :)

The good Reverend is welcome to have a chat with my wife about it. :)

The Bamboo facing on the front of the bar looks nice, but you need to cover some of the other surfaces, too. If woven Palm or Bamboo mats are too difficult for you to get you can get Sea Grass matting and trim it with lots of split Bamboo; and try convincing your wife that a dark colored ceiling will make the room feel both cozier and wider.
