Silverton lodge Las Vegas Polynesian Buffet

For a limited time, the Buffet at the Silverton Casino is having Polynesian food from 4-8 pm on Thursday Nights with free Mai Tai's and Blue Hawaiians. Food featured is Kiawe Smoke Prime Rib, Kalua Pork, Pork with crispy skin, Lomi Lomi, Tako Poke, Lau Lau and Haupia. $20.00 each person. BUT>>>>until January 31, most restaurants including the Buffet are 2 for 1 from 4-10 pm if you have a Players Club card (free to get). The food wasn't bad and the Mai tais were drinkable-I don't know that there was any alcohol in them.

I ate there two Thursdays ago, and I have to say the polynesian/hawaiian food was good. One bit of advice, though, is to get there at the opening--I went in the middle hours and didn't get seated for an hour and a half. If you wait till the end at 8pm, you get seated quicker but there's no more pulled pork.
